Grace in the Storms

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” — Romans 8:28

🌿 Reflection

Some storms come without warning. One day the skies are calm — and then everything shifts. The wind howls, the waves crash, and suddenly you’re standing in the middle of something you never imagined you’d have to face.

Yet even here — even in the ache — God’s grace meets you. Not always to stop the storm, but to steady your heart within it.

His grace is in the breath that still comes when grief steals your words. It’s in the sunrise that whispers, “You’re still here, and so am I.”

There were moments before your loss that you now see differently — small mercies, quiet nudges, divine preparations. He was already wrapping your heart in His arms, ready to hold you when the storm arrived. And even now, as the winds soften and the waters still, His grace is what carries you from heartbreak toward healing.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, when my world feels unsteady, remind me that Your love is not. Teach me to see Your grace in every drop of rain and every breath of hope that still lingers. Help me release what I cannot control and find peace in Your timing. Thank You for holding me through the pain and never letting go. In Jesus’ name, amen.
