God Keeps His Promises
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
— Hebrews 11:1
My name is Abraham, and many years ago, God made me a promise — that I would be the father of many nations. Even when I could not see how, I believed Him. For our God never breaks His promises.
When my son Isaac was born, joy filled our hearts. He was the child of promise — proof that God’s word always comes true. But one day, God tested my faith. He asked me to bring Isaac to the mountain and offer him as a sacrifice. My heart ached, but I chose to trust the One who had given me everything.
On that mountain, just as I raised the knife, an angel called out, “Do not harm the boy!” And there, caught in the thicket, was a ram — God’s perfect provision. He had made a way, just as He always does.
That day, I learned that obedience opens the door for blessing, and faith invites God’s power. The Lord provided for me then, and He still provides for you now. When life feels uncertain, remember — God keeps His promises.
